  1. Allegation: Epstein/Maxwell “lent out” a victim to a “friend” who offered money for sex; victim later identified the man as Harvey Weinstein.

    • Reported basis: a prosecution memorandum (dated Jan 26, 2021) describing the accuser’s account and her later identification.

  2. Allegation: during a “massage,” Harvey Weinstein told an accuser to remove her shirt; when she refused, he allegedly threatened to “get women to come force her.”

    • Reported basis: an FBI presentation/slide deck summarized in the released trove.

  3. Allegation: Leon Black received a “massage” while naked after Epstein told an accuser to do so; and a related allegation that another female gave him a “massage” and he made her perform oral sex.

    • Reported basis: an FBI presentation page labeled “PROMINENT NAMES” (as described in the release coverage).

  4. Claim in the files: the Manhattan District Attorney's Office “began looking into allegations” involving Leon Black.

    • Reported basis: a document within the tranche referenced in coverage (the office did not confirm in the reporting cited).

  5. Allegation/claim: at least one victim told investigators she was “lent out to other men,” but internal summaries noted inconsistency and that another victim denied a specific “lent out” scenario.

    • Reported basis: an FBI/prosecutor case-initiation summary described in reporting.

  6. Allegation: Maria Farmer told the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1996 that Epstein “stole” nude images/negatives of her and her sister and was believed to have sold them.

    • Reported basis: an FBI report (1996) referenced in the released-materials coverage.

  7. Claim: attorneys reviewing Epstein estate materials reported encountering potential child sexual abuse imagery and sought guidance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

    • Reported basis: an April 2023 letter to the FBI discussed in coverage of the documents.

  8. Claim: a referenced “relevant video” was reportedly shared with Epstein by an individual previously convicted of a child-pornography-type offense (as characterized in the letter).

    • Reported basis: the same April 2023 letter described in coverage.

  9. Claim: a prior email release shows Epstein and an associate discussing “girls” and travel; the associate is described in reporting as appearing to reference Jean-Luc Brunel.

    • Reported basis: a previously released email (Nov 12) referenced again in the new-trove reporting.

  10. Allegation (previously made in civil papers and re-contextualized in release coverage): Virginia Giuffre alleged she was sexually exploited by Epstein’s adult male peers, including royalty.

  11. Reported basis: civil-court allegations referenced in the new reporting about the files.

  12. Claim shown in the files: emails suggest Prince Andrew agreed to meet a “beautiful” 26-year-old Russian woman introduced/arranged through Epstein.

  13. Reported basis: email exchange described in coverage of the released tranche.

  14. Claim shown in the files: emails suggest Prince Andrew offered Epstein dinner at Buckingham Palace with “lots of privacy.”

  15. Reported basis: email exchange described in coverage.

  16. Claim shown in the files: Epstein sought help pushing Sarah Ferguson to publicly say he “wasn’t a pedo.”

  17. Reported basis: emails to a publicist described in coverage.

  18. Claim shown in the files: communications suggest Sarah Ferguson (and possibly her daughters) remained in warm contact with Epstein during/after his house arrest period.

  19. Reported basis: email referenced in the tranche described in coverage.

  20. Claim shown in the files: emails show Howard Lutnick planned to meet Epstein for lunch on Epstein’s island in Dec 2012; the coverage frames this as contradicting Lutnick’s account of cutting off ties earlier.

  21. Reported basis: Reuters review of the released emails.

  22. Claim shown in the files: Elon Musk corresponded with Epstein about visiting the island, declined, and asked whether Epstein had “any parties planned.”

  23. Reported basis: Reuters review of the email exchange.

  24. Claim in the release process itself: DOJ’s publication failed to redact the names of at least 43 victims (including many who were minors at the time), and exposed personal identifiers (addresses; one report mentions a driver’s license image), prompting calls for court intervention/independent monitoring.

  25. Reported basis: Wall Street Journal review and victim-attorney statements described in that report.

  26. Claim about the Trump-related portion of the trove: files include internal investigator emails reviewing “salacious accusations” involving Donald Trump and Epstein.

  27. Reported basis: Reuters review of those internal emails described in the release.

  28. Claim shown in the files: what appears to be a 2002 email from Melania Trump to Ghislaine Maxwell about a New York Magazine piece on Epstein.

  29. Reported basis: Reuters review of that email.
